The G42 B58 Eventuri intake optimizes turbo airflow while maintaining low inlet temperatures. Turbocharged engines require careful intake design due to heat and volume concerns. In the M240i, the intake sits near the exhaust manifold, causing rapid heat soak. High temperatures reduce performance as the turbo compresses hot, less dense air, making a fully sealed intake essential. However, this limits airflow to a single stock feed. We addressed this by adding a secondary feed from the wheel arch. Our sealed airbox features a gold-reflective heat shield to reduce heat transfer. To maximize volume, we enlarged the airbox with a recess for strut braces. The stock convoluted tube is replaced with a larger, smooth carbon tube, starting at 111mm (4.4″) and tapering to the turbo inlet for optimal flow. Lastly, a custom high-flow dry filter, ISO-tested for performance, offers a larger filtration area than stock.
